CMS in Partnership With The ILO Carries Out Series of Workshops, Activities And Programmes

The Centre for Migration Studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (CMS-NAU), in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO), under the Fairway Project themed Support to Enhancing Fair Recruitment in Nigeria, carried out a series of workshops, activities, and programs, which included the following:

1) A two-day consultation with professors and experts in the university was held at the Centre for Migration Studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Conference Hall from September 12–13, 2023.

2) A two-day focus group discussion on fair recruitment module course development was held at the Centre for Migration Studies Nnamdi Azikiwe University Conference Hall from September 14–15, 2023.

3) One-Day Consultation with Professionals and Experts in the Field, which was held at the Centre for Migration Studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Conference Hall on September 26, 2023.

4) Train the Trainers Retreat, which held at the Centre for Migration Studies Nnamdi Azikiwe University Conference Hall from 27th -28th Sept., 2023.

5) Facilitation of the Development of Framework for Licenced Recruiters in International Recruitment, which held at the Centre for Migration Studies Nnamdi Azikiwe University Conference Hall from 13th -27th Sept., 2023.
6) One-Day Stakeholders Meeting on the Development of a Framework Facilitating International Recruitment of Nigerian Migrant Workers, which was held at the Valencia Hotel, Abuja, on September 28, 2023.

7) A five-day training and awareness workshop for recruiters and PEAs was held at the Sawalino Hotel, Keffi, Nassarawa State, from October 16–20, 2023.
