Covid-19: The Health Challenges of the Pandemic on Migrants and Possible Solutions
Abstract:
One out of every thirty persons residing in different parts of the world are not residing in their own country. Migrants move from place to place in search of better livelihood. With the presence of COVID-19 migrants are restricted by lockdown, many lost their jobs making it difficult to access good health care and their basic needs. These situations precipitated various mental health problems such as depression, sleep disturbances, psychosomatic disorders, and post- traumatic stress disorder. The solution includes; reduction in the cost of health care services and providing health care information in a clear general language.
